H.B. Fuller’s £715M Move for AMS
Source announcement: 25 June 2026 | Latest cited update: 23 September 2026

H.B. Fuller is moving to acquire Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc (AMS) in a recommended cash transaction implying an enterprise value of £715 million. The agreed price is 285 pence per share, valuing the fully diluted equity at approximately £659 million.
The acquisition was announced on 25 June 2026. AMS shareholders approved it on 12 August, as confirmed by H.B. Fuller the following day. In its 23 September results announcement, H.B. Fuller continued to anticipate completion before the end of 2026. The deal remains subject to outstanding closing conditions.
AMS would add tissue adhesives, dressings and biosurgical technologies, together with manufacturing, regulatory expertise and a European commercial network. H.B. Fuller expects the combination to expand its healthcare business and support cross-selling across markets.
MatrixLabs perspective: the proposed acquisition highlights the strategic value of combining surgical technology with manufacturing and market access. For companies developing wound-closure solutions, it is a consolidation trend worth watching. This is our interpretation of the transaction, rather than a forecast of its impact on individual products.
